Summary
The Electric Black, Dark Caravan is a page-turning black magic tale that tells the origins story of The Electric Black. In this issue, we a few follow people who are the children of the moon, dark magical beings, as they find more of their kind to add to their caravan. They’re preparing for war with children of the sun, and it’s sure to be an epic battle of light and darkness. Yet, I’m left with one question, which side are the good guys on?
I was excited I got the chance to read this! Black Caravan is constantly putting out cool horror titles with covers that absolutely suck you right in and this issue is no different. There’s not a moment from the time you pick this book up that you don’t know that it’s a perfect book for anyone looking for a spooky delight. I was a big fan of the cover and interior art. It is sketchy-looking, sketchy art that plays right into the genre, and the color palette throughout accents it perfectly.
This was an origins story so there was no extreme climax, but it was told well it filled in the gaps The Electric Black fans would be looking for.
The dialogue had me confused at times and I had to re-read a few balloons as the story was initially progressing.
I found no editing mistakes.
The Electric Black, Dark Caravan, and the rest of The Electric Black Series are great books for those looking to get in the Halloween mood!

I have always been fascinated by the way people tell stories. Whether it's in comics, movies, or songs, it amazes me the way that people can make it all work. I’m happy to say I finally wrote a story of my own and it feels great to join a community of people who are doing the same thing. I'm excited about my opportunity to read other independent creator's work.
