Qloss Defenders Brings High-Energy Adventure to Webtoon and Tapas
Qloss Defenders, the long-anticipated webcomic from Ashley of Qloss Media, has officially launched—and readers can dive in right now on Webtoon and Tapas, completely free.
Set on the remote island of Qloss, the series follows three friends—Krystal, Erin, and Taylor—whose lives change the moment they awaken the ancient power of the Mergers, a legendary people who once wielded elemental abilities to protect the world from colossal creatures known as Okami. The Okami have returned after years of dormancy, and the trio must learn to master their newfound powers before their island faces destruction.
“It’s a comic that I’ve been working on for 10 years,” creator Ashley shares. “I’m so excited to finally reveal the world of Qloss and all of its characters to the world.”
Blending 3D character models with a polished 2D aesthetic, Qloss Defenders stands out visually while honoring the look and feel webcomic fans love. The series is packed with action, friendship, and fantasy—and includes meaningful LGBTQIA+ representation across its cast.
New episodes drop every Friday at 10AM HST, giving readers a weekly dose of adventure.
About the Creator
Ashley has been writing stories since childhood—everything from short fiction to novellas to fanfiction—and channels those influences, along with a love of comics and animated storytelling, directly into Qloss Defenders. When she’s not building the world of Qloss, she’s gaming, playing Taiko Drum, or planning the next trip to Japan. Her mission is clear: to tell bold, heartfelt stories that center LGBTQIA+ characters and the real challenges they face.
Readers can start the journey today on Webtoon and Tapas, with plenty more excitement ahead.
