When Denise died of cancer his daughter went through her possessions to get everything out of the house. That’s when she found the letter Silas had sent some time before. She used the postmark to narrow Silas’s location to a city. After a week of walking around with his picture and asking if anyone knew him she found him. Summary
This book was a Father’s Day gift from my son, Munchkin. He thought it would be fitting to give me a book called ”Father’s Day” for the holiday. He wasn’t wrong.
I liked how the story moves at such a steady tempo. Even the pages that are used to give us the information we need for the story have a lot of action and intensity in them. It makes it very easy to fall into the book.
I liked the level of detail we got in the artwork on the interior pages. Even the spider at the beginning of the story is phenomenally done. Guzman and Tartaglia came ready to play with this book.
“Father’s Day” has a great foundation. We got lots of action and drama in the first installment. I’m hoping that the next issue gives us a bit more in the way of character development. I would like to know the name of Silas’s daughter. I’m looking forward to finding out that piece of information.

I grew up loving all things geek. I started reading and collecting comics when I was 8. My personal collection has roughly 8,000 books in it. When I’m not doing something geek-related I love spending time with my amazing wife and kids, gaming, and working on cross stitch projects.
