One of my favorite things about this issue was the fact the writer made it a point on page two to mention a small previously from the first issue. As someone who did not read issue 1, it gave small enough detail to give me an idea what happened in the previous issue. This was a great issue to read and thoroughly enjoyed the direction it went. The art was very clean, bright, and perfectly used. I enjoyed the use of the double page spread in some of the pages to ensure that no detail was missed in those panels. The dialogue was very easy to follow, and it was easy to develop an accent in my head, which for me was a way to immerse myself into the story even more. I did not find any major editing problems throughout the issue and panels were not overly done with dialogue. There was a perfect balance of narration and dialogue that I never felt lost throughout the story. The cover was very bright and got my attention. I cannot wait to see how the rest of the story unfolds in future issues.
