Summary
I first discovered “Un/sacred” about a year ago. It’s one of my guilty pleasure titles. The formula was similar to “The Lighter Side” in “Mad” Magazine. We would get a series of one to three page scenarios/jokes and then move on to the next one.
As time went by the scenarios had gotten less comical. The format changed into full book length stories. The results were a mixed bag.
“Un/sacred” #6 showed us glimpses of what made it so great to begin with. I’m hoping that we’re going to be seeing shorter stories going forward.
As a geek on a budget I would recommend waiting for this one to hit the buck box. It’s worth a buck for a few laughs. At cover price I would say skip this one.

I grew up loving all things geek. I started reading and collecting comics when I was 8. My personal collection has roughly 8,000 books in it. When I’m not doing something geek-related I love spending time with my amazing wife and kids, gaming, and working on cross stitch projects.
