The cover art of this story is toned down from the first book, but still catches the eye and is more in tune with the title of the book. While still pleasing to see. The style matches the previous style and keeps the consistency that makes this story unique!
That interior artwork continues with the wonderful style that was created previously, albeit more subtle this time, as the events of the book are a little more concerning then the previous. The colors and design on the page matches the emotions conveyed and draws the reader in quite nicely.
This particular story itself is still a little slow, as the details of the main character Kenny seem to come in spurts. As like before it centers around the extra terrestrial. Only this time Kenny isn’t the focus of the story, Shae is. By the end of the story she gains more knowledge into what’s going on.
All the while, still searching for her missing brother Kenny. I was intrigued with the story from the first book, and continue to be so, as it deals with suppressed memories and emotions and centers around a special needs individual, while at the same time hints at the possibility of extraterrestrial creatures, and or involvement.
I continue to look forward to how this story unfolds and to see how it ends!
