Summary
So, after reading this book, I must say that I am equally disturbed and intrigued at the same time and wanting more. I am a fan of demons and hells and I like how the interpretation of hell is just a big punishment for the souls that have committed the seven deadly sins. Very biblical, highly effective. I love the black and white art it reminds me of the Walking Dead in terms of horror. The gore is graphic on point which I love. I was not grossed out or anything, I am not a squeamish person, but I did enjoy it. As for the Demon Raquel, it does a fantastic job of humanizing Demons and does well to destroy the trope that Demons are just sadistic tourers, instead, this demon wants something more which is hopefully going to be a driving point in the series and something that I cannot wait to see next.
