Summary

Mega #1 by Salvador Sanz has it all; missing Grandparent, oblivious Father, daughter with prescience dreams, Monsters, and a mission that will save our world. And it is terrific.

Salvador Sanz weaves a tale that is paced well. Nothing is rushed; the pace is slow but intentional. The stakes keep getting higher as you turn the page. Salvador does a great job of building his characters and their world. The dialogue makes sense. Nothing is wasted, and it never seems forced. Just a natural progression to the inevitable.

The cover leaves no doubt what you’re about to get into. It looks epic and matches the tone of the book well. Inside, the art is consistent and interesting. It seems like Salvador knew precisely what he wanted to accomplish. And more importantly, he succeeded. It is really done well.

Mega #1 is a good read, a well-developed story with great art that draws you into caring, panel by panel until you can’t wait to see what’s next. A worthy read is a captivating story.
