Summary

I just read this, and I must say it has potential here. This reminds me of Deadman from Justice League Dark, and this is as if Ghostbusters became superheroes. Now, unlike for a beginning issue, this is not an origin story but a day in the life of our main character type story. There is a lot of world-building of both the characters and the overall arcing story which I admire and cannot wait to see more of. My expectations for the book were subverted and it does not seem to be a long-drawn-out story from that issue. Which works for me a bit. I will say that some of the emotional beats felt a bit rushed for the story and if the author wants us to feel these moments, I do not think that they must be all in one issue. The art is nothing too special to admire but it is ok. Overall, this is an enjoyable read.
