About the Book:

The story starts off with an archaeologist at a dig where an artifact is found, but when the rumored mystical properties of the artifact actually come true, it takes the Hero of the story to stop it.

Reviewers Notes:

Gargoyles or the like have been a thing dating back to ancient times.  There has always been some kind of protector, or ward, to protect against evil spirits.  In this story the main hero transforms to a living breathing gargoyle when the sun goes down. Becoming the hero of the story.

I like the story, but the thing that is a little off putting. This is the inaugural issue and there is no information on how the main character became the gargoyle hero he is.  I think there is a lot of potential for a back story, but I understand that through the reader right into the fray to gain interest can be beneficial.

I think that once the back story is established then the reader will gain more interest into the story, and be more invested as the story goes.

Gargoyle by night has the potential to be better than it already is. taking the reader on the journey of someone who struggles with the curse that has been put upon them.

The cover is well done, as it shows the main character in the light of the moon, perfectly epitomizes the story itself of the main character being a gargoyle by night!

The interior artwork is very well done and rivals some of the more popular mainstream comics. Showing the emotions of each character and taking the reader on a visual journey to match the story being told.  Making the story complete and exclusive.

Growing up in the 80s and 90s I grew up as an eclectic geek, a fact that still holds true today. I grew up watching all the classic cartoons of the 80's and had many an adventures with the toys that went with. Played tabletop RPG's and still enjoy computer gaming as adulting allows. On top of making time to read comics, and spend time with family and friends.
