Summary

This book, for its first issue, has a remarkably interesting idea- Nazis drug dealers as the main antagonistsBut I do have some issues with the book. I know that the idea for a superhero book having its first issue be an origin story is repetitive at this point but as a reader, I wanted to care about the protagonist and have at least some of the questions answered. Why do the Nazis have such an increase in power? Why does Xero want to fight Nazis other than they are Nazis? I also do not know who the audience this book is for? There is some cursing in the book which I am fine with but when Xero is fighting bad guys, he is cracking jokes about them which is fine, but it tackles hard subjects with Neo Nazism and drugs, yet I have a feeling like it is trying to be campy. The art is fine really, nothing too special about it. I love the banter and chemistry between the characters that is important. I would like to have more world-building in this issue to understand why there are superpowered beings about along with Nazis like as thrown away exposition but other than that it is fine.
