WINGLESS COMICS WELCOMES JEFFREY JOHNSON JR TO THE TEAM
His creator owned title, The S.A.B.R.E Initiative will continue to expand the Wingverse.
Burbank, CA, 4/5/2021 — Wingless Comics is proud to announce partnership with Jeffrey L Johnson Jr, author of Ennead- The Rule of Nine. Jeffrey, or JL as he is known, will bring his signature world-building and epic storytelling into the shared world dubbed, The Wingverse.
JL is a devoted husband, father and graphic novelist. He’s been a teacher, a videographer and is currently a Crossfit coach. This man of many talents will debut a new creator owned title, The S.A.B.R.E. Initiative for Wingless Comics. The preview #0 issue will launch in May, alongside Justice #2 which will be live on Kickstarter. The entire Wingless Comics team is elated to work with JL and can’t wait to see his stories unfold.
The S.A.B.R.E Initiative follows the exploits of Emilen Psara, in the aftermath of Nightfall. A police detective in the futuristic Clinton City, Emilen must unravel the surrounding several gruesome murders and the emergence of a religious organization known only as The Cloth. As she travels down this ever-widening rabbit-hole, she might find more than she bargained for. From the ashes of Nightfall, The S.A.B.R.E. Initiative brings real-world consequences to the Wingverse and it will never be the same.
Full series debut in 2022.
Wingless Comics specializes in telling stories through serialized comics and graphic novels. This creator-owned venture was born in December 2019, designed to highlight new characters and new stories, from a diverse and inclusive viewpoint.
