The genre-busting Western tale of revenge from Literati Press funds April 8 through April 22
Oklahoma City, OK – April 5, 2021 – After a successful first campaign, The Black-Jack Demon, creator Nick Hermes’ genre-busting Western comic, is back for issue 2 on Thursday, April 8 at 11am CST and runs for 14 days, through Thursday, April 22 at 5pm CST. The tale of a boy bent on revenge crossing the West from the plains to the Rockies in pursuit of the stranger that murdered his father and destroyed the family mine, issue 2 finds the boy, Silas, now alone and tracking the stranger through settlements in the shadow of the eastern Rockies. Hermes’ art demonstrates his background as an oil painter and captures both the grand landscapes of the West and the curious characters that inhabit it, while his writing is at turns playful and chilling.
Readers can also catch up with add-ons and pledge tiers including print and/or digital copies of The Black-Jack Demon #1, and opt to get Literati Press’ other recent titles that launched via Kickstarter, Glamorella’s Daughter #1 and We Promised Utopia #1. Once the campaign reaches its initial goal, three exciting stretch goals will be unveiled. The Kickstarter will help Literati Press continue to print and promote The Black-Jack Demon so it can reach the audience it deserves.
