Oneshi Press: Anthology #11: Becoming – Call for Submissions

Last Call for Submissions
April 7th Deadline for the Becoming Anthology

March 29, 2021 (Missoula, MT): The Oneshi Press comics anthology series is seeking submissions of finished short comics, short comics scripts, and artwork for inclusion in its upcoming anthology—Becoming.
It happens in the space between an origin and destination. In the moments between concept and completion, the process of becoming can be uncomfortable, beautiful, painful, ecstatic. What will yours look like? What are you becoming? Show us in an eight-page comic.
“We want to see what the theme of becoming means to independent comics creators from all backgrounds,” says Oneshi Press editor in chief, Lynsey G. “We especially want to hear from creators from marginalized communities and identities, so that we can help share their understandings of this complex topic with the world.”
Submissions are due by April 7 on the Oneshi Press website’s submission form. Those interested in submitting their work can read the full call for submissions for further details. It may also be helpful for creators to view the Sample Script and Comic Template available at the website, and to familiarize themselves with Oneshi Press’s submission guidelines.
The anthology will be published in late 2021, in both print and digital formats. Creators whose work is included in the anthology will retain ownership of their work. Oneshi Press looks forward to seeing what “Becoming” means to the brilliant indie creators of the world!
