Kathryn Calamia Launches Bi Visibility: A Bisexual Comic Book Anthology on Kickstarter

On August 30th, Kathryn Calamia launched the Kickstarter campaign for Bi Visibility: A Bisexual Comic Book Anthology. The project, a 44 Page comic book anthology ranging from romance to high fantasy about the bisexual experience, is already at 150% of its goal.

The anthology features 9 stories from 20 different creators. Calamia says of the project, “As a bisexual creator myself, this is one of the most important projects I’ve ever worked on and a subject near and dear to my heart. Growing up, I had very little bisexual representation. I knew the label existed, but I didn’t know what it looked like, how it felt, or that I could be bisexual.  This was the driving force towards putting together this anthology. Representation matters!”

Having met the initial funding goal, Calamia is now pushing for 700 backers. ”If we make it to 700 backers on Bi Visibility: A Bisexual Anthology ALL BACKERS will receive a digital copy of Is’Nana The Were-Spider: The Ballads of Rawhead & John Henry!” She recently posted on her Facebook page.
