Dandy Presents: Penny Dreadfuls Pride Ashcan profits to go to the Trevor Project

In celebration of Pride Month, Source Point Press is releasing a limited edition Dandy Presents: Penny Dreadfuls Pride Ashcan available only on sourcepointpress.com and at the Gladwin County Pride 2022 in Gladwin, MI. All profits from the ashcan will be donated to The Trevor Project, supporting suicide prevention and crisis intervention services for LGBTQ young people in crisis.

Dandy Presents: Penny Dreadfuls is a queer horror anthology in the vain of Tales from the Crypt or the House of Mysteries featuring three short stories by exclusively LGBTQ+ creators presented by queer comedy icon and internet sensation Dandy.

After performing in Hollywood and all across Canada for the last several years, Dandy has found celebrity on TikTok teaching manners, fan language, and other inspiring LGBT content from a high-class perspective. Dandy can be found on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media @dandyandfriends.

“I’m so happy to be connecting with so many LGBTQ+ comic professionals. It’s the best way to tell queer stories. If it were done by straight people it would be like reading a book about a city in which the author has never visited. And people think I’M absurd! Huzzah!” says Dandy.

The limited edition Pride ashcan is a preview of the anthology featuring the short story “[Void Cat]” by Writer Jaysea Williams, Artist Seth Abair, and Letterer Lucas Gattoni with two covers by Artist Leighton Buxam.

Cover A is available exclusively on sourcepointpress.com. Cover B will be available only at Gladwin County Pride 2022 in Gladwin, MI. Profits from both covers will go to The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and mental health organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, & questioning (LGBTQ) young people.

The full edition of Dandy Presents: Penny Dreadfuls is available for pre-order now and available in comic stores Aug. 24, 2022.
