About the Book:

The Marshal enters a small town called Orange City, where he is trying to find some rest and relaxation from the previous encounter, only to have himself and his traveling companion get into a gunfight that they don’t seem to be able to win.  When the Prince steps in and ends the gunfight and explains to the Marshal and his friend that things just got a lot more complicated.

Reviewer’s Notes:

This story picks up a little after where the last one ended. I like the introduction of the new characters, adding more background and depth. The characters are just as relatable, if not even more so in this book, then they were the first time.  The banter back and forth as well as the narration of the story from the main character’s point of view keeps the reader intrigued and up to date on what is going on in the story.

When they introduce the character known as the Prince at the end, the history between him and the bad guy hunting the marshal hints at a past history that is something to look forward to as the story develops. This story I think makes the series better than what it was the first time.

The cover art shows the main characters in danger and is very well done, without giving the story away, the color scheme is the epitome of the old west with the dust bowl look and stands out among other titles. Making it something that catches your eye if you’re looking at it at a glance!

The interior artwork is also very well done, and once again highlights the look of the times it’s trying to portray. Making the reader feel like they are part of the story visually.

Overall the story was great to read, and completely enjoyable.  Once I picked it up, I found myself wanting to continue the story in the next one, having lost track of time.  If you like the classic battle of Heaven VS Hell as well as old west stories, then this definitely a title that needs to be followed!
