Reviewer’s Notes:

The cover art of this book continues to impress.  Showing yet another color of the spectrum and showing more suits in the process, adding to the wonderful style that has already been established.

The interior art follows the previous versions as well, now that the suits of the kids have been stabilized, their uniforms reflect all the bright colors that incorporate the rangers in general, as well as the enemy being the darkness.  The contradiction is pleasing to the eye and at this point shows a clear good versus bad scenario.

In this chapter of the story, the kids managed to make a lot of progress in their fight, as well as in their attempt to connect to the family that has left.  But must make the very adult decision to stop the enemy forces. Showing a level of maturity that can be admired by someone at a young age.  I thought the story continued with the excellent grasp of making the reader invest in the character development, and even tugged at strings a little bit at the decisions made. Even though I felt for the characters, I thought the story did a great job of showing their trials and tribulations as a team.  I also thought that the issues that the morphinaut was dealing with, is something that everyone can relate too. Making that character have a depth that is enjoyable as well.  I am looking forward to more of this story as it unfolds!

Growing up in the 80s and 90s I grew up as an eclectic geek, a fact that still holds true today. If I am not adulting then I can readily be found doing something geek-related. When I am not doing something geek-related I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family and friends!
