About the Book:
Glork gets a new addition to the team in the form of a tiny robot, and then sends it out with Glork Jr and Quackaboodle on an adventure, when something happens to the robot…
Reviewer’s Notes:
This series of stories is entertaining enough, but is clearly meant for children in 4th grade and below. The shenanigans that the child and his pet friend get into are meant to be a silly situation and come across as such, but when they go to the magic robot for help it teaches a good lesson that all kids should learn, that is ultimately learned by the Magic Robot.
I think that this way of providing lessons for children is a great thing. I grew up watching cartoons in the 80’s and not all of them provided lessons, but a few did. It shows how to act and how not to act in a fun way and makes it easier to understand by the younger generation.
The cover art is simple enough, and shows the premise of what the story is about. Which if you are trying to keep the attention and or interest of the kids who will be reading this book, is a good thing.
The interior art matches the previous stories that I seen perfectly, making the consistency of the story something that is good for kids to follow especially if they like the story in the first place.
Overall I think the Glork Patrol series is a great addition to the comic book world for the younger generation, and should be at least considered for beginning readers if you are trying to interest them in a fun story to spark the literary interests of the younger generation!

May the historical documents of the imagination always inspire! Thanks for reading!

Growing up in the 80s and 90s I grew up as an eclectic geek, a fact that still holds true today. If I am not adulting then I can readily be found doing something geek-related. When I am not doing something geek-related I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family and friends!
