Reviewer Notes
I wasn’t convinced I was going to like this story, but I really like Specks Thompson, so I have it a go. There’s other similar-ish stories out there that I’ve read and just didn’t care for, so, I began reading Legacy of The View with a grain of salt… Issue 1 was OK. It was a good set-up, but, as I’ve said elsewhere issue 1’s are hard. Issue 1’s from first-time creators, even harder. If I had allowed myself to stop at issue 1 though, I would have missed out. Issue 2 really sucked me in and won me over! Thompson succeeds in issue 2 where so many other creators of similar stories fail, he takes the genre and starts making it his own and I can’t wait for issue 3! Pick-up this series, but don’t stop at issue 1! Trust me, it’s worth it!
